Iain A. Sprigman

Iain A. Sprigman specializes in transforming complex sustainability data into actionable insights and analytical products that help companies and financial institutions navigate sustainability-related risks and opportunities.
He is currently Senior Research Lead at ISS STOXX, where he directs research initiatives that enhance sustainable investment strategies and supports firm-wide innovation through modernization and process optimization projects as part of the Strategy and Scalability team.
Previously, Iain served as Research Director at Signal Climate Analytics, where he led project-based teams through over $3M in advisory contracts for institutions including Morgan Stanley, Calvert Investment Management, Reuters News, Volvo Cars, and the London Stock Exchange Group.
In addition to his professional work, Iain is Sponsorships Co-Chair and a Managing Committee Member at the Sustainability Investment Leadership Council (SILC), where he helps shape programming and cultivate partnerships that advance the intersection of finance and sustainability.
He holds a multidisciplinary degree from New York University with concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Business, and Sustainability, and a minor in Philosophy. Iain has also served as a teaching assistant in Yale’s Executive MBA program (Sustainable Finance) and is a Certified Sustainable Finance Analyst through WSFA.
